    you have to have no conscience and be a good liar, because the pharmaceautical companies could care less who gets better, they just want to make money which is not what healthcare should be about.

    I can’t tell you the pros and cons of being a pharma rep, but I can tell you that your account rep experience with the airlines is probably just a drop in the bucket of what a pharma rep does. Go after your dream, but you’ll need to push the fact that you are flexible and capable of of diving and being a benefit to the company in a short amount of time, give realistic examples. And don’t say you are a fast learner, quick study or hit the ground running. Everyone says that, and you won’t set yourself apart if you do.

    My uncle is a rep. for a firm out of Houston TX.that specializes is in genomic health care,and he is a smart guy a U. Kentucky grad very personable laid back yet knowlegeable about the product and those qualities seem to get him by…very well!
